Southwest Style Chicken Burgers


1 slightly beaten egg
1/4 cup finely crushed nacho flavor or plain tortilla chips
3 tbsp finely chopped green pepper
3/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 lb uncooked ground chicken
2 oz Monterey Jack cheese with jalapenos, sliced
4 rolls, toasted
1 avocado, sliced
1/4 cup salsa

In medium bowl combine egg, tortilla chips, pepper, chili powder, salt and pepper. Add chicken, mix well. Shap into 4 patties. Broil for 14-18 minutes or until no longer pink. Top burgers with cheese and broil until melted. Serve on rolls; top with avocado and salsa. Best Blogger Tips
